Finals of INA Open Squash Championship were played on 20 Jul 16. A total of 23 cadets participated in the championship. Cdt Bhavdeep Saini of Braveheart Squadron bagged Gold medal. Cdt Arpit Moullik and Cdt Harsha Arza both from Achiever Squadron stood at second and third position respectively.
Inter Squadron Aquatics Championship was conducted from 09 – 18 Jul 16. Finals of Inter squadron aquatics was held on 18 Jul 16 at Mulla Aquatics Complex. Various events for the championship were:-

- 50 m Breast stroke
- 4x50m Medley Relay
- 100m Back stroke
- 4x100m Relay
- 200m Free Style
- 200m Breast stroke
- 200m Individual Medley

At an impressive Passing out Parade (POP) held at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala here today. 234 cadets of Indian Navy, 64 cadets of Indian Coast Guard and three cadets from friendly foreign countries passed out of the portals of the INA, on successful completion of their training. This POP marked commissioning of the cadets of 90th Indian Naval Academy Course INAC (BTech) and 90th Indian Naval Academy Course INAC (MSc) Courses in the Indian Navy.
The morning of 27th May 16 was a red letter day for the cadets of 90th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). On this day 90 cadets were awarded BTech degree by the Chief Guest Prof Ashish Nanda, Director, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, at the Convocation Ceremony held at INA in presence of their proud parents / guardians. Rear Admiral MD Suresh, NM, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor of the academy and Rear Admiral K S Venugopal, Principal, INA also graced the occasion.
The Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala will hold its Passing out Parade (POP) for Spring Term 2016 on 28 May 16. 301 cadets including three cadets from friendly foreign countries from four passing out courses, viz., the 90th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC BTech), 90th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC MSc) 21st Naval Orientation Course (Extended) and the 22nd Naval Orientation Course (Regular), will pass out on successful completion of their training.
The Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala – the premier institution that shapes future Naval leaders held its ‘Academy Ball’ event for the Spring Term on 14 May 16. Rear Admiral MD Suresh, NM, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor of the academy rolled the traditional silver ball which marked the commencement of a extravagant and gala night of an age old military tradition of ball room dancing.
The event was attended by all the senior officers of the station along with their spouses and also the passing out cadets along with their guests.
At a stirring ceremony held at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala here today, Two Short Service Commission – Pilot cadets of the Indian Navy were bid farewell, on successful completion of their training.
The Inter-Squadron Drill Competition was conducted on 21-22 Apr 16. The aim of the event was to inculcate discipline and sense of pride amongst the cadets and also as a practice for the forthcoming POP. The Drill Competition was conducted into two phases. In the first phase, the cadets were inspected for their turnout followed by drill movements during the second phase.
The Inter-Squadron Drill Competition was won by Daredevil Squadron where as Eagle, Braveheart, Fighter, Achiever and Cheetah squadrons attained second, third, fourth, fifth and Sixth positions respectively.
The Inter - Squadron Sailing Championship for Spring Term 2016 was held at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala over a fortnight this month. The finals of the event was held on 18 April 2016, which tests the sailing skills and will power in a cadet, was witnessed by Rear Admiral MD Suresh, Dy Commandant and a host of officers and cadets of the Academy.
